During the dog days of summer, our road trips begin earlier and end sooner for obvious reasons. Sometimes, our oppressive humidity gives us a break as was the case on Saturday, July 26 when we met at Chappy’s on Perry Hill Rd. at 8:00am for breakfast. Andy, Gene, David, Wayne, Terry, Blitz & Amanda, Barbra & Bill broke their fast followed by stragglers Russell, Pam, and Don. At 9:00am, we were on the way to the VW Meltdown at the Farmer’s Market. Shortly after, Steve, Brandon & Chloe joined the group in admiring the VWs. [PHOTOS]
