Tired Butts 2008 Covered Bridges and Cathedral Caverns

 2008's Tired Butts Tour brought some chilly weather. Brave souls started the day with tops down. Heading north, the temps hit the 40s and a slow rain started falling and the tops went up. Still a great trip - we saw and drove through the covered bridges of Blount County/ Then on to Guntersville and a drive around the state park. Shirley counted more than 50 deer on the park road. Cathedral Caverns is a true wonder. Stories abound and memories were made over these 500 miles or so. Always fun, we are already looking forward to 2009's Tired Butts Tour.
