Walter Mitty 2001 at Road Atlanta
A Day at the Mitty 2001 – Our member Buzz Merchlewitz take 1st in class in the # 59 Bugeye. Our Club has gone to the Walter Mitty as a group on three occasions. This is a great event. If you love vintage racing, the Mitty is for you. A great place to spend a day with friends and watch anything from MG-T cars, Porsches, Vetttes & Stangs, to early NASCAR racers. 2001 was my first trip over. My good bud Jeff and I wandered the infield and pits while watching our own Buzz race his Bugeye.
Ok, grab a seat and a cool one. Time to watch some
great racing with the cars we grew up with and wished
we could race back in the day.
