On Sunday, May 27, Hamer Phillips, founder and multiple-term president of the fledgling British Motoring Club of Montgomery, celebrated his eighty-sixth birthday with his car club friends at the home of Blitz and Amanda. Our historian, Pam, brought the scrapbook of the early days of the club when being thinner and having darker hair was is in vouge.
Hamer is still going strong and is setting the bar awfully high for the rest of us. Many happy returns, Hamer!
