2018 Pike Road Art Market & BMC Car Display

At our March meeting, Amanda reported on the club’s annual car display at the Pike Road Art Market at the Town Hall on March 3. Fifteen cars were on display and the club received free publicity in conjunction with the Market. Amanda thanked club members for their participation. Over 600 people attended the art market this year.  Amanda said she thought the increased attendance was partially due to the club’s display. David said it has become a very enjoyable event for the club and he hopes that the relationship with the Market can continue.  (From Pam’s March meeting minutes)

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the club at the Pike Road Art festival this year. What a great lineup of cars. From Doc’s Rolls (that’s plural, too. Ed.) to Larry’s modern 911 we had the years covered. This year, Doc treated us to not one, but three of his cars: the 1924 Rolls Royce 40/50, a 1936 right hand drive Ford V8, and his 1983 Rolls Royce Corniche. What a treat! The Pike Road folks and especially Amanda, really appreciate the turnout and support.  (From David’s President’s Message in the April issue of Brits ‘n Pieces)
